Blogmas #9: The Project for Awesome

Today is the start of the 10th annual Project for Awesome!

If you don't watch any Youtube, the Project for Awesome is an annual charity fundraising event started ten years ago by the vlogbrothers, Hank and John Green. (Yes, that John Green). Every year, they host a 48-hour livestream, with lots of special guests, and loads of awesome donation perks, including exclusive perks from various big Youtubers. (Last year, I think there were one-off Dan and Phil polaroids, for the people who clicked fast enough?).

This year, all the money raised in the first half is split between Save the Children and Partners in Health. All the money raised in the second half will be split between various charities as voted for by the community. And right now, all donations are being matched by three different donors, which means that every $1 you donate is actually worth $4. A $25 donation will become $100. IT'S REALLY COOL. I recommend you check it out!

So donate, learn about some great charities, and, you know. Don't forget to be awesome.
